The Bali Pass Trek is quite challenging and not recommended for beginners; you must be physically fit to accomplish the entire trek. The Bali Pass Trek is not recommended for those who have breathing issues or altitude sickness because of the high heights involved. You will be joined on the journey by a great group of fellow adventurers, and at Trekmunk, we guarantee that you will descend to climb even more peaks together in the future.

They claim that hikers are extremely insane individuals for ascending to such heights just to see the scenery. Not entirely incorrect! To experience the serenity of nature, you must summon that crazy from within. Himalayan hikes are the ones you should choose if you enjoy strolling on frozen lakes, and wish to encounter the outdoors while still feeling at peace. A variety of Himalayan excursions are available through Trekmunk for folks who wish to enjoy wonderful hiking while also learning about how people have developed culturally.

About Bali Pass Trek

Bali pass connects the lovely Har ki Doon valley to Yamunotri valley, making it one of the less well-known but more thrilling treks in India. Additionally, it has breathtaking panoramas of the neighboring Himalayan giants, including Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, and Swargarohini, which all appear to be within touching reach. The routes go through lush vegetation before gracefully transitioning into an alpine landscape. The walk also passes through the undeveloped base settlements of Sankri and Osla, where you may explore a variety of intriguing local cultures. Vibrant alpine flowers surround the path along the glacial Ruinsara river, and the water carries a stunning reflection of the skies that leaves you awestruck.

If you love traveling you can also see Many places in Ladakh.

The ideal time to visit

The months of September and October are the ideal times to try this walk. This makes it such that the difficulty level will slightly decrease because there will be less snow to obstruct your trails and no rain to finally wash away the slick surfaces. Trekkers can now choose the pre-monsoon seasons if they desire to level up. The adventure will continue to be exhilarating due to the harsh temperatures and difficult routes.

The starting point of the Journey

The journey on foot begins in the Sankri settlement. You must arrive in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand before you can travel to Sankri. The 197.2-kilometer travel to the Sankri village from Dehradun takes about 6-7 hours. The Debshu Bugyal, from where you may enjoy breathtaking views of majestic Kalanag, is the first landmark. As the 15,000-foot mark is passed, the much anticipated Bali pass base camp, which is brief but difficult, comes into view. The Lower Dhammi via Bali pass is the final campground. It will be a long trip through deep snow. On the final day of the journey, hikers will climb to Yamunotri, from where they will follow the pilgrimage route to Jaan Ki Chatti. Participants leave

The following day, left for Dehradun with some priceless memories.

Therefore, the post-monsoon season in September and October is the ideal time to go on the hike. The trail is still covered in snow throughout the pre-monsoon months of May and June, which also allows adventure seekers to indulge their passion for the mountains.
